Little Rock CVB names Stasha King Irby as VP for sales and services

The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) announced the hiring of Stasha King Irby on Thursday (April 17) as its new vice president of sales and services. Irby returns to the Bureau after previously working as a sales manager with national associations.
Irby brings more than two decades of industry experience and a record of driving global sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and leading high-performing teams.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stasha back to the LRCVB in this leadership role,” said Gina Gemberling, LRCVB president and CEO. “Stasha’s extensive experience in destination marketing, her consultative sales approach, and her strong industry relationships will be instrumental in driving new business to Little Rock. Her passion for hospitality and deep knowledge of the market will benefit our partners, clients, and community.”
Irby recently was a global account manager for Choice Hotels International, where she was named a 2024 President’s Club Winner. Prior roles have included Visit Spokane, Royal Sonesta Houston, Ritz-Carlton New Orleans, Hyatt Regency New Orleans, and Little Rock’s former Peabody Hotel, among others.
A Magnolia native, Irby holds a master’s degree in marketing from Webster University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration in marketing from Southern Arkansas University.
