Ricky Gene Moore Jr., age 45, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Born on June 13, 1979, in Fort Smith, he was the son of Ricky and Sandra Kay Moore. Ricky was an accomplished 300 bowler and enjoyed video gaming, football, collecting, and poker. A proud Republican and a man of the Baptist faith, he was known as the favorite uncle to his “little shits,” a great friend, and someone who could always bring laughter to those around him. He dedicated himself to caring for his father until his own health began to decline in July.

Ricky is survived by his father, Ricky Gene Moore Sr.;  his sisters, Tammy Kay Casarreal and Jennifer Jean Maldonado; his nephews, Christopher Martinez, Ryan Martinez, and Felipe Casarreal; his nieces, Rosalinda Stevenson, Monica Martinez, and Yesenia Maldonado; his great-nephews, Bellamy Casarreal, Elliott Stevenson, and Baby Martinez; his great-niece, Genevieve Martinez;  Ricky will be deeply missed by a host of friends and family. Ricky is preceded in death by his mother Sandra Kay Moore;  his cousins David Lee Bailey, James Dye Jr, and Rebecca Ann Mares.  

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at River Glenn Chapel, 1805 North A Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Funeral services, officiated by Brother Steve Young, will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024, at River Glenn Chapel, followed by burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith.  Services are under the thoughtful care of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.
