Dorothy Mae Ireland

Dorothy Mae Ireland, age 63, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on December 5, 2024. She was born on September 29, 1961, in Ladd, Arkansas, to Willie Jones and Idella (Smith) Daniels. Dorothy was known for her warmth and generosity, always opening her home to family and friends with a delicious meal and a welcoming spirit. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones and enjoyed sharing her passion for life, often accompanied by an occasional drink. A devoted Christian, Dorothy lived her life with a deep commitment to her family, always serving as a steadfast source of love and support. She was the heart of her family, a rock for her children, and her presence left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Dorothy’s legacy of kindness, strength, and love will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
Dorothy is survived by her three beloved children, Markice Ramage, Shanda Ramage, and Jessica Ireland; eleven grandchildren, Brianna West, Brian West, Brittney Redix, Erick Whitmore, Bri’asia Giles, Jordan Walker, Alexandria Harris, Briand Harris, Michaela Shavis, Brynlee Harris, and Aiden Ireland; two great- grandchildren, A’Braia West and Journee Walker; one sister, Margaret J. Smith; one Niece, Fekicia Smith; and two special sisters Sharon William and Rose Nunn. She is preceded in passing by her parents,  Willie Jones and Idella (Smith) Daniels.
