Class of 2024 Forty Under 40 Jeff Allison Owner & President Dickson Street Dining LLC, Fayetteville

Jeff Allison’s greatest success was buying Bordinos Restaurant in 2020, 45 days before the COVID-19 pandemic, and surviving. He made it through with government assistance programs, pivoting to try new things and being flexible. The key was loyal customers, and Allison appreciates their support and continued loyalty to ensure the brand’s long-term success.

Born in Carthage, Mo., Allison graduated with a degree in food, human nutrition and hospitality from the University of Arkansas in 2010, adding a master’s degree in finance from the University of Tennessee in 2016. He worked for MGM Resorts in Tunica, Miss., then as director of business development for MSW Inc. in Joplin for three years before becoming national account manager for Pattison ID in Knoxville, Tenn., where he oversaw sales and business development for their restaurant division. Moving to Arkansas in 2017, Allison worked remotely as national account manager for Chicago-based Seating Concepts Inc. (SCI), a manufacturer of furniture, millwork and graphics for national restaurant chains. He bought Bordinos, continued with SCI and was promoted to market director over their restaurants and hospitality division in 2022.

Allison plans to acquire another business and grow SCI. Eventually, he wants to purchase the company and become CEO. Allison is intent on ensuring his customers and staff are satisfied.

Involved with a wide variety of charities, including Restore Humanity and Suits and Sneakers, Allison gives because “the community supported me through COVID, and it’s my way of giving back.” A die-hard Razorback fan, he’s involved with NIL (name, image and likeness) efforts with the university to raise funds for student-athletes. He provides mentorship in a “big brother role” to the players. Off work, Allison enjoys playing golf.
