UAMS leases space for call center in West Little Rock
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has signed a lease for 21,360 square feet at 27 Corporate Hill Drive in Little Rock. According to Pulaski County property records, Chenal Parkway Development LLC is the owner.
Real estate firm Colliers Arkansas in Little Rock disclosed the transaction on Tuesday (May 21).
According to a news release, UAMS plans to use the space as a call center for its clinical programs. A move-in date is tentatively scheduled for later this year.
Formerly known as the Healthscope Building, 27 Corporate Hill is located in west Little Rock near the Interstate 430/630 split. With the UAMS lease, the 45,000-square-foot building is 95% occupied. It is also home to Little Rock Children’s Clinic, which moved into its renovated space last fall.
Justin Bentley of Colliers Arkansas represented the landlord in the UAMS transaction.
“This location was a perfect fit for UAMS,” he said. “It has fantastic access to retail, restaurants and interstates, as well as abundant parking. Coincidentally, it was already set up to house a call center, so they wouldn’t have to go to a lot of expense in order to move in. Colliers was happy to have had the opportunity to help out with this lease.”
UAMS is the state’s only academic medical campus. The main campus is in Little Rock, and there is a satellite campus in Fayetteville.
