Governor makes appointments post-prison transfer board, other panels

Governor Sarah Sanders announced the following appointments on Monday (May 6):

Post-Prison Transfer Board
Willie Robinson, Little Rock, to the Parole Board. Term to expire January 14, 2030. Previously vacant position.

Board of Trustees of Northeastern College
Robin Houseworth, Blytheville, to the Board of Trustees of Northeastern College. Term to expire December 31, 2028. Replaces John Newcomb.

Brad Harrison, Manila, to the Board of Trustees of Northeastern College. Term to expire December 31, 2028. Replaces Thomas Westbrook.

Board of Trustees of Arkansas Tech University
Cory Cox, Perryville, to the Board of Trustees of Arkansas Tech University. Term to expire January 14, 2027. Replaces Michael Lamoureux.

Board of Trustees of Ozarka College
Fred Holzhauer, Ash Flat, to the Board of Trustees of Ozarka College. Term to expire July 1, 2030. Reappointment.

Career Education and Workforce Development Board
Danny Games, Little Rock, to the Career Education and Workforce Development Board. To serve at the will of the Governor. Previously vacant position.

Len Pitcock, Hot Springs, to the Career Education and Workforce Development Board. To serve at the will of the Governor. Replaces Jeff Standridge.

Arkansas Real Estate Commission
Tammy Browning, Hot Springs, to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission. Term to expire December 31, 2026. Replaces Suzette Sparks.

State Board of Optometry
Dr. Matt Jones, Blytheville, to the State Board of Optometry. Term to expire April 26, 2028. Replaces Daniel Hennessey.

Arkansas Educational Television Commission
Maria Sullivan, Jonesboro, to the Arkansas Educational Television Commission. Term to expire March 23, 2031. Replaces John Brown.

Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners
Dr. Keith Jones, Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners. Term to expire September 1, 2028. Replaces Charles Taylor.

Hot Spring County Quorum Court
Mitchell Burnett, Donaldson, to serve as Justice of the Peace for District 8, for Hot Spring County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Andrew Daily.

Marion County Quorum Court
Russell Luder, Mountain Home, to serve as Justice of the Peace for District 1, for Marion County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Michael Scrima.

Montgomery County Quorum Court
Retha Curtis, Sims, to serve as Justice of the Peace for District 1, for Montgomery County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Susan James.
