Springdale-based Community Clinic, one of Northwest Arkansas’s largest primary care providers, has acquired seven of the nine clinics previously owned by Community Physicians Group (CPG) of Siloam Springs.

The acquisition significantly broadens Community Clinic’s footprint and enhances its capacity to meet Northwest Arkansas’ healthcare needs.

The deal closed on April 1. According to a news release, the strategic acquisition will integrate seven of CPG’s clinics across Northwest Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma into the Community Clinic framework of more than 20 locations. The deal increased Community Clinic’s employee count to approximately 350.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Community Clinic CEO Judd Semingson said the expansion aligns perfectly with a mission to deliver accessible, high-quality healthcare services to individuals and families throughout the region.

“We are excited to extend a warm welcome to the patients and staff of Community Physicians Group as they become part of our Community Clinic family,” he said. “This venture underscores our commitment to providing exceptional care and support throughout our region and will provide tremendous care and access to the patients we serve.”

Beyond simply expanding its clinic network, Community Clinic aims to utilize the new clinics to enhance its service offerings and further integrate healthcare delivery across the region.

Semingson said that by combining resources and expertise, the clinic seeks to more effectively address the evolving healthcare needs of the community.

Established in 1989 as St. Francis House, NWA, Community Clinic started by providing resource-based connections and later expanded to healthcare in 1994. It has become a primary care provider in Northwest Arkansas. Recognized as a Community Health Center since 2004, it has grown to over 20 locations in Benton and Washington counties, serving 45,000 patients in 2023. Services include primary, pediatric, women’s health, prenatal care, dental, behavioral health, physical therapy, and case management.
