Two promoted to executive roles at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield promoted Christy Giglio and Tonya Rogers to lead executive positions.

Giglio joined Arkansas Blue Cross in 1997 as a data analyst. Over the past 25 years, she has served in several leadership roles, including manager of Commercial Pharmacy Operations and director of Pharmacy, ensuring members receive access to the medications they need.

In her new role as lead executive of customer service, Giglio will oversee all customer service operations.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La., and went on to earn her master’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Tonya Rogers has been named lead executive of configuration. In her new role, Rogers will lead teams of analysts who will be working to ensure a positive customer experience for all Arkansas Blue Cross members.

Rogers joined Arkansas Blue Cross in 1990 as a developer. She has served in a number of leadership roles, including manager of Claims and Customer Accounts, and Information Systems director of Enrollment and Billing, leading key business initiatives such as participation in the marketplace and state health insurance exchange.

Rogers earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Henderson State University.
