Union Pacific President to headline NLR Chamber banquet on Feb. 29

The North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce will hold its 39th annual meeting on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock.

A cocktail reception begins at 5:15 p.m. followed by dinner and the program at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5pm.

This year’s keynote speaker is Ms. Beth Whited, President of Union Pacific. Whited is a railroad industry leader and the first female president in the history of Union Pacific.

Dr. Jerome Green, President of Shorter College and the Chamber’s 2023 Chair will present the Chamber’s accomplishments of the past year, while Laura Nick of Garver and the 2024 Chamber Chair will look ahead to plans for North Little Rock’s future.

The following Chamber members will accept 2023 awards in these categories:

  • Large Business Partner of the Year – Curtis Stout
  • Medium Business Partner of the Year – Pinnacle IT
  • Small Business Partner of the Year – North Little Rock Tourism
  • Non-Profit Partner of the Year – St. Joseph Center of Arkansas

The North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce mission is to stimulate economic, community and workforce development in North Little Rock. It has over 1,200 members and is the fourth largest chamber in the state.
