Kerri Boling McGee learned hard work, passion and dedication while growing up on a beef cattle and poultry farm in Gravette.

“I found a passion for understanding the laws and regulations that impacted the highly regulated food and agribusiness industry and knew that I had to pursue this interest as a career,” she said.

Boling McGee is a regulatory attorney in the industry and has worked on policy, legal and regulatory issues impacting the industry nationwide. Before joining Kraft Heinz in 2019, she worked at Faegre Baker Daniels and was senior counsel at Springdale-based Tyson Foods.

“I’ve been very fortunate to take what I learned growing up on a farm and made a career out of it as a lawyer,” she said. “I’ve had the opportunity to represent and advise some of the world’s largest food manufacturers and agribusinesses.”

Boling McGee earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business, a law degree and a Master of Laws in agricultural and food, all from the University of Arkansas. In college, she worked for U.S. Sen. Blanche Lincoln on farming and food policy issues in Washington, D.C.

In law school, she was a graduate assistant for The National Agricultural Law Center and a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Office of the General Counsel and Arkansas Supreme Court.

In 2016, she was named the outstanding young alumna by Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences and was one of the commencement speakers. She also has a certificate in international food law from Michigan State University.

She’s a board member for Benton County 4-H Foundation, Dean’s Partnership Council for Bumpers College and The Women’s Meat Industry Network. Boling McGee enjoys traveling internationally and has an Africa trip planned for September.
