moxy, a Springdale-based provider of print, signage and visual communications services, recently completed a more than $1 million investment in equipment, technology and staff.

The investment is designed to expand production capabilities, improve efficiency and better serve the rapidly growing business community.

The company recently installed an EFI Pro 30h+ Hybrid UV printer and a Ricoh Pro C7500 digital production press. Less than a year ago, the company added a Ricoh Pro C9500 production press. The new equipment expands the company’s ability to produce large-format signs, displays, banners, graphics, high-quality commercial print, direct mail, packaging and specialty marketing materials.

The EFI Pro 30h+ Hybrid UV printer can print on rigid and roll media for applications including signage, wall graphics, retail displays, vehicle graphics and custom visual communications. The Ricoh Pro C9500 supports oversized sheet sizes up to 13 inches by 37 inches, while the Ricoh Pro C7500 produces sheet sizes up to 13 inches by 27 inches.

These systems can produce brochures, catalogs, direct mail, booklets, presentation materials, packaging applications and specialty print projects.

“This is more than just an equipment upgrade; we have made an investment in the future of our company and the businesses we serve throughout Northwest Arkansas,” said Matt Huber, president of moxy. “As our region continues to experience tremendous growth, our customers need a partner that can deliver exceptional quality, faster turnaround times, and a broader range of products. These investments allow us to keep more work local while providing capabilities typically found only in much larger markets.”

According to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s list of Largest Printing & Graphics Services, moxy ranks No. 7 with 10 employees.
