Alex Foundation announces 2023 Heart and Treasure award recipients

The Alex Foundation has announced the selection of six recipients for this year’s Heart and Treasure Award.

The award recipients will be recognized during Alex Foundation’s benefit and program Sunday, October 1, 2023, 4–7 pm at Pulaski Technical College’s Center for Humanities and Arts in North Little Rock.

Alex Foundation’s Heart and Treasure Award is given to individuals, companies and organizations who have been consistent champions of its cause. This year’s award recipients are:

Architects
Brad Chilcote, AIA
Russell Rudzinski, AIA

Individuals at an organization or business
Doug Hutchins, Blue Bell Creameries, L.P.
Janis F. Kearney, Celebrate! Maya Project

Organization or business
Heifer International
Garver Engineers

Tickets to the awards program, which will consist of a musical performance by Grammy nominated John Two-Hawks and architects modeling in a fashion show, can be purchased online at this link.

The Alex Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit organization whose mission is to engage students, specifically limited access and rural students, in exploring architecture and design through place-based learning, experiential learning, project-based learning, and multi-disciplinary learning.
