The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Arkansas District Office and The Venture Center officially formed a strategic alliance Tuesday (March 28) to work collaboratively and further their shared mission of helping small businesses start, maintain, and grow.

Under this agreement, the SBA Arkansas District Office and The Venture Center will help connect current and aspiring small business owners to resources and programs to improve opportunities and expand small business development in the state.

“This groundbreaking partnership with the SBA demonstrates our ongoing commitment to lifting up the small business community here in Arkansas,” said Arthur Orduña, Executive Director of The Venture Center. “No matter where an entrepreneur is on their journey, we have the proven success and necessary resources to supercharge their progress and help make their vision a successful reality.”

The Venture Center is a nonprofit that focuses on education, collaboration, and acceleration within the startup ecosystem. To fuel innovation, they partner with entrepreneurs, corporations, universities, government agencies, nonprofits, venture funds, service providers, program alumni and other organizations in the community.

“We are pleased to announce our strategic alliance with The Venture Center. By ensuring SBA resources are available and cooperating with The Venture Center to support the local business community, our alliance will provide critical support to new entrepreneurs and the 99.3% of Arkansas businesses that are considered small,” said Jerry Talbert, SBA Arkansas Deputy District Director.
