First National Bank of NWA opened its new Fayetteville banking office to customers Sept. 21.

The roughly 8,500-square-foot building is on Steele Boulevard, south of JJ’s Beer Garden & Brewing Co. It will replace the existing Fayetteville branch at 2638 Joyce Blvd., a leased office space that opened in December 2014.

“Our team is thrilled with how this turned out,” Fayetteville market president Tanya Mims said. “We love our new location, the proximity to the Razorback Greenway, the environmental features, and of course the beautiful exterior and interior. FNBNWA is excited about this opportunity to expand our services and provide more conveniences to our community.”

C.R. Crawford of Fayetteville built the two-story building. Core Architects of Rogers handled the design work, with plenty of exposed brick to give the building an old warehouse look. The property also includes a green roof, solar panels, drive-through window, an outdoor fire pit and event space on both floors to host gatherings.

The building also includes space on the second floor for sublease.

FNBNWA is a division of First National Bank of Fort Smith, which was chartered in 1872 and has 13 branches in the Fort Smith metro. The company has six branches in Benton and Washington counties: Rogers (2), Bentonville, Centerton, Lowell and Fayetteville.
