The eighth annual Hoops for Kids Sake charity basketball game between the Arkansas House and Senate will take place on Monday, April 20 at 7 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center at UA Little Rock.

Proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, Boys & Girls Club of Bryant and of Saline County.

The Arkansas Senate holds a 4-3 lead over the Arkansas House in the series and has won four in a row.

$10 general admission tickets will be available at the door. Since its inception in 2013, the game has raised more than $200,000.

Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Most children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters are in single-parent and low-income families or households where a parent is incarcerated.

The Boys and Girls Clubs’ mission is to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens, by providing a safe haven for children from all walks of life during our after-school and summer hours.
