Erin Simpson has been hired as executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer by Little Rock-based Encore Bank.

Simpson is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and has over 19 years experience in bank compliance.

“We are thrilled to have Erin join the Encore Bank team. Her experience in compliance and audit functions within a bank are highly sought after. As Encore continues to expand into new markets, it is imperative we have the best individuals in their respective fields and Erin certainly fits that
description,” said Chris Roberts, Encore Bank Chairman & CEO.

Encore Bank rebranded last year under new leadership. As of January 31, 2020, the bank had assets of $340 million and has operations in central, northwest and Northeast Arkansas in state. It also serves the Dallas and Nashville markets.
