Last week, Serenity Park Recovery Center announced the opening of its twelve bed residential addiction treatment facility which includes an additional eight beds for the on-site detoxification unit.

Serenity Park is a privately owned, premium care detoxification, residential and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center for adults. It is located at 2711 W. Roosevelt Road in Little Rock.

The center offers on-site medication assisted detoxification services in addition to residential and intensive outpatient programs. This continuity of on-site care makes Serenity Park among the most comprehensive fully integrated detoxification, residential and outpatient addiction recovery centers in the region.

Serenity Park provides holistic, evidence-based treatment to help residents to live sober and productive lives. Each participant is provided guidance and support to develop life skills essential to a lifetime of recovery and healthy living.

Serenity Park Recovery Center will continue many of the widely recognized and respected practices of the late Joe McQuany, a respected leader and pillar of the recovery community. McQuany created the internationally-acclaimed Recovery Dynamics program and had the vision to initially develop this site as Serenity Park.

Founder and CEO of Serenity Park Recovery Center, Tara Tinnin, said of the newly established and launched company, “When we acquired this property, we included the words, Serenity Park, in our new company’s name as a tribute to the legacy of Joe McQuany and the quality of the addiction treatment programs he pioneered. The new Serenity Park will deliver a highly effective yet affordable continuum of care by providing on-site medication assisted detox, residential and outpatient treatment programs.”

Accompanying the opening of Serenity Park, Tinnin also announced George Weaver as Chief Operating Officer. Weaver brings more than 30 years of experience and leadership at leading treatment facilities. In this new role, Weaver will support Serenity Park’s overall quality assurance, treatment protocols, and professional team.

“Serenity Park’s mission and personalized programs for clients and their families aligns with my passion to have a positive lasting impact on people’s lives. We will make a significant difference by providing each individual a program which addresses their specific needs,” said Weaver.
