Achievements: Over the past 20 years, Fogg has been immersed in retail technology and worked with many of the largest retail account teams and consumer packaged goods companies. He’s identified requirements and processes to solve their business problems with technology, and this has evolved into ShilohNEXT, a business intelligence platform leveraging traditional analytics, advanced technology, statistics and science to help make better business decisions.
What has been the most fulfilling moment of your career thus far? I have a very fond memory of being on the golf course. My oldest son who was 4 at the time just got out of school and joined us, and I received a call from a customer closing a very big deal at the time. That moment cemented for me that family and business can be a priority at the same time.
What is your favorite thing to do when you are not working? I enjoy flying, and my two youngest sons are beginning to have a passion for that also.
Was there a pivotal moment in life that led you to your current industry? My passion for technology to help with driving business decisions really became an obsession when, in a meeting years ago, one woman came to tears when she described having to work Sundays to prep for Monday meetings vs. spending time with her children. I had young children then, and I knew I had to take on that challenge. That experience still motivates me.
