Sherwood Urgent Care to open location in Hot Springs

Sherwood Urgent Care will open a clinic Aug. 27 at 201 Airport Road in Hot Springs.

Sherwood Urgent Care – Hot Springs will be open daily: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday. The clinic accepts walk-ins for non-life threatening conditions, and following are some of the medical needs for which patients can be seen: asthma and allergies, flu and viruses, sprains and broken bones, burns, wellness physicals, immunizations and occupational health services.

The clinic will accept most insurance plans, including Tricare, Medicare and Medicaid. Sherwood Urgent Care is an affiliate of Nashville, Tenn.-based Urgent Team, one of the largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers in the Southeast, according to a news release.

“Our goal is to meet the growing patient needs for quality care delivered in a convenient location at an affordable price,” said Mike Dupuis, Urgent Team Division Vice President. “Hot Springs and Garland County is rapidly growing — we want to help meet the primary, urgent care and occupational health needs to this community.”

The Urgent Team Family of Centers operates at 37 locations under four brands: Sherwood Urgent Care, eight locations in Arkansas; Urgent Team, 16 locations in Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee; Physicians Care, eight locations in Tennessee; and Baptist Health Urgent Care, five locations in Arkansas.
