Donna Townsell has been named director of investor relations for Conway-based Home BancShares, the parent company of Centennial Bank. Townsell was promoted from her role as director of marketing.

“Donna has played a major role in our company’s success and is a tremendous asset to the team,” Home BancShares Board Chairman John Allison said in a statement. “She has proudly and successfully worn many hats for the Company over the years, which included Director of Corporate Efficiencies that was a game changer for the Company moving ratio’s from 60’s to 30’s, and we can rest assured that this role will be no different.”

Allison said because of regulations for banks with assets of $10 billion, the bank believed it important to have a person focused on helping “improve our outreach and communication with current and prospective investors, research analysts and other important stakeholders.”

Also, Andria Russaw was named director of marketing for Centennial Bank. Russaw has been with the bank since December 1999 when it was First State Bank. She was a loan assistant and then held the position of assistant director of loan operations for 12 years. Russaw recently worked as a conversion-analyst for the bank.
