The World Trade Center Arkansas (WTCA) in Rogers has compiled and released new information it hopes will help grow trade for the state.

The Arkansas Exporter Directory is a 103-page directory of Arkansas-based companies of all sizes—up to and including Wal-Mart Stores Inc. — who have exportable goods and services. The directory is listed alphabetically by industry, from advanced technologies to timber, wood and paper.

WTCA president and CEO Dan Hendrix said the product is a solution to a need in the Arkansas trade community.

“Multiple foreign clients and even governments have asked for a list of exporting companies like this,” Hendrix said. “There are different lists available, but some are proprietary or industry specific and none were comprehensive. Our directory contains hundreds of Arkansas companies and can be updated every year for accuracy.”

The directory was compiled through the WTCA with the help of with several state organizations including the Arkansas Aerospace and Defense Alliance, Arkansas Farm Bureau, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and the Arkansas Secretary of State’s Office.

Hendrix said by partnering with Secretary of State Mark Martin, the WTCA was able to send emails to every company in Arkansas so they could voluntarily join the directory.

The directory can can be downloaded for free through the WTCA website.
