Arkansas Public Relations Society installs 2018 officers

The Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) installed its 2018 officers on Jan. 19 at its monthly meeting at the Little Rock Club. The new officers and members of the board of directors will serve from January 2018 to January 2019.

Taking over the top leadership role is Kristen Nicholson, APR, Director of Public Relations at Mangan Holcomb Partners. Nicholson, the chapter’s incoming president, has nearly a decade of experience in public relations.

Nicholson succeeds 2017 Arkansas PRSA Chapter president Sarah Kinser, APR, chief program officer at Arkansas Community Foundation.

Additional 2018 Arkansas PRSA Chapter board members include the following:

  • President-Elect: Adena White, APR, Conway Area Chamber of Commerce;
  • Vice President: Maegan Clark, Heifer International;
  • Secretary: Jason Brown, APR, The Communications Group;
  • Treasurer: Kathryn Heller, APR, Ghidotti Communications;
  • Past-President: Sarah Kinser, APR, Arkansas Community Foundation;
  • Assembly Delegate: Denver Peacock, ABC, APR, The Peacock Group;
  • Director at Large: Heather Haywood, APR, Mitchell Williams;
  • Director at Large: Lamor Williams, City of Little Rock;
  • Director at Large: Stella Prather, APR, Arkansas Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries
