Lowell-based J.B. Hunt Transport Services ranked 4th and Fort Smith-based ArcBest ranked 43rd on the 2017 Top 50 U.S. third-party logistics provider (3PL) by Armstrong & Associates Inc.
The list ranks 3PLs based on 2016 logistics gross revenue. C.H. Robinson ranked in the top spot.
“At ArcBest, we provide our customers with a broad array of solutions across the supply chain spectrum as we solve their complex logistics challenges,” Judy McReynolds, ArcBest chairman, president and CEO, said in a statement. “I’m pleased that ArcBest is recognized among the top 50 U.S. 3PLs for 2017.”
ABF Freight, one of the nation’s largest less-than-truckload carriers, is the largest subsidiary of ArcBest.
