Brad Carl Leaving 40/29 For Tulsa

Brad Carl, who has been a weekend morning meteorologist and weekday morning reporter at KHBS/KHOG, Channels 40/29, since September 2013, will leave the ABC affiliate Sept. 19 for a new job in the Tulsa television market.
Carl tells Whispers he has accepted a job as weekend evening meteorologist at FOX affiliate KOKI-TV. His first broadcast there will air Sept. 26.
In terms of market size, Carl is making a jump up the ladder by about 40 spots.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to be offered a full-time meteorologist position in an active weather market and, frankly, I had a hard time saying no to that,” said Carl, who is originally from Seattle and a graduate of University of Washington.
