DAS Acquisition Co. of St. Louis Enters Arkansas Market With Bentonville Office

DAS Acquisition Co., the largest mortgage lender in St. Louis, has opened its first Arkansas location.
DAS, which operates as USA Mortgage in St. Louis, has opened a four-person office in Bentonville at 911 S.E. 28th St. The company has also opened a two-person office in Grove, Oklahoma, that will operate as USA Lending Corp.
Sherry Sherrell will lead both offices, and projects that each of them will generate approximately $50 million in loan volume this year, driven by companies seeking to strengthen their business relationships with Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Sam’s Club and other local vendors.
In St. Louis, DAS has topped the $1 billion mark in home loan volume each year since 2009 and has been ranked the largest home lender there since 2012.
“Our mission is to replicate in the region the market leadership we have achieved in Missouri,” Doug Schukar, the company’s president and CEO, said in a news release. “We believe our products and support infrastructure will enable us to attract the caliber of licensed loan officer we seek.”
DAS is now licensed in 16 states.
