Sparks Health adds assistant finance officer, information security officer

Nichole Dykes has joined Sparks Health System as an assistant chief financial officer and will report to CFO David Rothenberger.

Dykes has accounting experience in healthcare and manufacturing sectors. Before joining Sparks, she was a controller with Reliant Rehabilitation Hospitals in north Texas. There she was responsible for general and financial accounting for five acute care rehabilitation hospitals with a total of 250 beds and 484

She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Michael Stevenson has been named the information security officer for Sparks. He will oversee electronic information policies and ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected at facilities in the Fort Smith and Van Buren areas.

Stevenson joined Sparks when he was 17 and has worked in various positions within the hospital for the last eight years. Stevenson most recently worked in the Information Systems Department as an integration engineer.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in information technologies from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
