Lt. Gov. Griffin appoints Ashley Younger to Ethics Commission

Lt. Governor Tim Griffin appointed Ashley Driver Younger to the Arkansas Ethics Commission.

Younger will replace William C. Bird III. Her term will commence January 1, 2016 and expire December 31, 2020.

Younger is a 2010 cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law. Currently, she serves as the executive director of Central Arkansas Rescue Efforts for Animals.

In the spring of 2015, Younger joined the Office of Attorney General Leslie Rutledge as an assistant attorney general for the criminal division. Prior to her work at the attorney general’s office, Younger served as an attorney at Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, PLLC.

After completing law school, Younger served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Richard D. Taylor, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. Younger is a member of the American Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, and the Junior League of Little Rock.

“Today, I appointed Ashley Driver Younger to the Arkansas Ethics Commission. Her broad range of experience will prove beneficial to the Commission. I congratulate Ashley, and I appreciate her willingness to serve Arkansans in this role,” Griffin said.
