Tyco Retail Solutions recently announced the grand opening of a 5,000-SF Walmart Retail Experience Center, specifically for the use of Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

Modeled on similar centers around the globe, the facility — located in the Bentonville Commerce office park just off Walton Boulevard — will showcase Tyco’s range of safety, security and store performance solutions including RFID inventory intelligence, EAS, source tagging, video surveillance, fire detection and suppression, and intrusion detection. The facility can accommodate up to as many as 20 employees.

According to a press release issued Aug. 25, this is Tyco’s first center built exclusively for one client.

“Meaningful connection with our customers is critical to understand their needs and challenges so we can find the right solutions to help them grow,” said Eric White, Tyco’s Walmart account leader. “Investing in our business and technology innovation shows our commitment to Walmart and the Bentonville community.”
