Forty Hotels Took In More Than $1 Million in 2014
A record nine hotels in Benton and Washington counties collected more than $3 million last year in room revenue. (Click here to see list).
New to the $3 million club is the 122-room Hampton Inn at 4501 W. Walnut St. in Rogers, which took in $3.08 million in 2014, up 10 percent from $2.8 million in 2013.
The Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas, at 3303 Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers, topped the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal list for the 10th straight year with $12.8 million, up 4 percent from 2013. With an inventory of 400 rooms, the hotel is the largest in Northwest Arkansas.
Ranked No. 2 on the list, the 21c Museum Hotel, at 200 N.E. A St. in downtown Bentonville, made the biggest year-over-year leap, with room revenue of $5.17 million in 2014, an increase of 59.1 percent from 2013.
The Chancellor Hotel in Fayetteville ($4.57 million), DoubleTree Suites by Hilton in Bentonville ($4.50 million) and Holiday Inn Northwest Arkansas in Springdale ($4.45 million) round out the top five.
Hotels had to make at least $1 million in room revenue to be included in the list. The 40 hotels ranked in this year’s list collectively had room revenue of $99.73 million in 2014, up 11.8 percent from 2013.
In 2013, there were 38 hotels in the two-county area with more than $1 million in room revenue.
