Simmons First Makes Executive Promotions

Simmons First National Corp., the holding company of Simmons Bank, announced it has promoted Tina Groves to Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer; Kevin Pletcher to Senior Vice President and Assistant Controller; and Burt Hicks to Chief of Staff and Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions.

Also, Simmons Bank added E. Anthony Patterson as Paragould Community Executive.

Groves, a CPA, previously served as SVP and Manager of Corporate Audit and Compliance.

Pletcher first joined Simmons in 2005 as Assistant Vice President and Corporate Accounting Manager.

Hicks returned to Simmons in April 2014 as Manager of Corporate Responsibility and Special Projects after graduating with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. He previously worked at Simmons as a Corporate Rotational Analyst.

Hicks also serves as Assistant Secretary to the Simmons First National Corp. board of directors, Secretary to the Simmons First National Bank board of directors and is a member of the Simmons First Foundation board of directors.

In Paragould, Patterson brings 11 years of financial services experience in northeast Arkansas to Simmons Bank, including commercial and agricultural lending experience. He has previously held positions as Branch Manager, Loan Officer, Assistant Vice President and most recently Senior Vice President.
