Nearly 40 national and international experts are scheduled to speak during the NWA Techfest Jan. 31 at the University of Arkansas Global Campus in Fayetteville.
Organizers are expecting more than 400 attendees for the one-day technology conference, which covers a wide range of topics like software and web development, databases, tech entrepreneurship, big data, social media and security.
Keynote speakers are John Foreman, chief data scientist with MailChimp, and Jason Seats, co-founder/managing director of TechStars.
The event is free and open to the public, though organizers say registration is required. Participants can register in advance at the website nwatechfest.com
or at the event.
Organizers request that attendees donate two canned goods or $2 to the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank.
