Gruesome ghouls, ghastly goblins, ghosts and zombies—Halloween is on the way!  The dark, dank Museum basement will come to life with clowns, mummies, skeletons and a plethora of creepy characters to scare and dare the bravest souls.  The Fort Smith Museum of History will present the third annual “Blood on the Border Haunted House” on October 18, 19, 25, 26, 30 and 31 beginning at 7:00 pm.  For only $5 per person, experience the haunted basement.  Greeted at the door by a host of creepy creatures, things only get scarier as you descend into the dungeon.  Headless bodies and bodiless heads await around each corner of the thrilling basement maze.

Frightening zombies come out of the woodwork to perform in the street in front of the Museum each half hour beginning at 7:00 pm as Western Arkansas Ballet brings to life
Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” the hit music video from the 1980’s.

“Blood on the Border” offers volunteer opportunities to high school and college students members.  Call to volunteer-if you dare!
