Aimed at giving back to the communities in which it operates through 50 acts of kindness, 50/50 covers a wide array of charitable deeds by Crafton Tull executives and staff.
The 23rd act out of the 50 — the delivery of coloring books and crayons to local hospitals — was the latest to occur. Scheduled to end by Nov. 20, a marquee event planned for September is the planting of trees for the Illinois River Watershed Partnership.
Matt Crafton, president and CEO at Crafton Tull, said staff has embraced the 50/50 program.
“It speaks to our culture and it fits with who we are and what our history is,” said Crafton. “We were brainstorming about what to do for our 50th anniversary. A person on staff had the idea and we all jumped on it. Our staff has been very enthusiastic.”
