Audition Process Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.  Characters in the play speak with an upper class British accent. 

Those auditioning should wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes; all actors should be prepared to walk through simple dance steps.

Actors interested in the characters of Emma Woodhouse, Jane Fairfax, or Frank Churchill should be prepared to sing a brief (30 second) selection of a classical song without accompaniment. Please email the director at [email protected] if you have questions.

Synopsis In 19th century England, marriage is the ultimate game. This romantic comedy is about a wealthy young woman who is so busy playing matchmaker that she never sees into her own heart. A true classic based on the Jane Austen favorite.
