Robertson To Run For Appeals Court

Jeannette Robertson, 57, has announced she will run for the Arkansas Court of Appeals, District 1, Position 2.

Robertson is a University of Arkansas graduate and received her J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Robertson has practiced law for 27 years in both state and federal courts in Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, and Texas.

“I have had the privilege to counsel and represent individuals and small businesses in a wide variety of legal issues,” said Robertson. “My practice has covered law in the areas of agriculture, business formation and litigation, child custody and divorce, financial and debt counseling, guardianship and estate planning, personal injury and wrongful death actions, product liability, probate, tax law, workers compensation and social security. I have also represented clients during the appeal process in front of both the Arkansas Court of Appeals and the Arkansas Supreme Court.”

Robertson is currently a part-time District Court judge in Craighead County and has served on the Craighead County election commission.
