The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith has announced the names of the 25 participants who have been selected for the 2011-12 class of Leadership Fort Smith.
Individuals chosen for Leadership Fort Smith take part in sessions that focus on key community issues and leadership skills while engaging in dialogue with leaders in various fields. Barbara Harvel of Fort Smith directs the program.
New class members are:

* Karen Cardwell of Fort Smith, vice president/director of bank operations at First National Bank.
* Scott Chambers of Muldrow, director of technical services for the Fort Smith Housing Authority.
* Rob Coleman of Fort Smith, owner and vice president of ERC Properties Inc.
* Bob Cooper Jr. of Fort Smith, partner and executive broker of R.H. Ghan Commercial Properties.
* Kandice Daggett of Greenwood, director of human resources at USA Truck Inc.
* Marcia Davis of Van Buren, regional branch manager and vice president at Arvest Bank.
