First Security Opens New Building

Those whose travels regularly take them along Joyce Boulevard in Fayetteville might have noticed a new sign.

The sign’s teal color and proximity to the nearby First Security Bank branch made it easy to guess who is behind it. Indeed, market president Jim Taylor told Whispers the building is an expansion of sorts.

The First Security Bank Business Center currently houses a handful of bank employees. Taylor said First Security simply outgrew the adjacent branch, currently home to about 30 employees.

Taylor said more employees are likely to work in the newly opened building “as we continue to grow,” and some of the office space might even be leased.
