Clean & Green: Can The Grease

With a high-tech TV truck, Little Rock Waste Water employees can see what’s happening under the surface and in the pipes of more than 1,300 miles of sewer lines.

Sound unappetizing? It is.

But it is because of everyone’s appetite that the pipes have to be monitored.

After years of dealing with grease blockages in the city’s sewer lines, Little Rock Waste Water created an educational campaign to convince residents to "Can the Grease."
