2010 Octubafest

The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith music department announces the fifth annual Octubafest on October 18 beginning with a meet and greet at 4:00 pm in the Reynolds Room of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center on the UA Fort Smith campus.
All 9-12 grade students, college students and local area euphonium (baritone) and tuba players are invited to perform in a mass tuba-euphonium ensemble as part of the Octubafest activities. Following the rehearsal (4:30-6:30 pm) of tuba-euphonium music, there will be free pizza and soft drinks provided to all participants.
The 7:30 p.m. concert, which is free and open to the public, will also be held in the Reynolds Room, and will feature the UA Fort Smith Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, UA Fort Smith faculty members and brass students, as well as the mass tuba-euphonium play-a-long.
