Elvis really is everywhere; and running for Arkansas Governor
Apparently, Elvis has not left the building.
Roby Brock, a content partner with The City Wire, provides this story about Elvis Presley filing as a write-in candidate for Arkansas Governor.
The race for Governor just got "all shook up." Elvis D. Presley of Star City has filed as a write-in for Arkansas Governor.
Democratic incumbent Gov. Mike Beebe, Republican Jim Keet, and Green Party nominee Jim Lendall could be headed to "Heartbreak Hotel" if Presley is successful.
I don’t mean to have a "suspicious mind," but I will be interested in hearing more about The King’s campaign platform, which was alluded to in a handwritten statement delivered with his political practice pledge.
Presley writes, "I Elvis D. Presley plan to run for the office [of] Governor for the Great State of Arkansas. To supply The people with a broader array of employment and a newer chain of State government that the people can trust in."
