App Upgrade Coming to Arvest Customers

We hear there’s an upgrade in store for Arvest customers who use its iPhone app.

Actually, the bank has two apps: one that allows customers to securely interact with their accounts, another that uses GPS mapping to locate branches and ATMs.

The branch locator app is getting a boost to make it more valuable for customers. What will be dubbed “myArvest” will still guide you to the nearest Arvest, but it will soon also feature a blog feed, links to a bevy of financial calculators, current rates and more detailed local contact information. Expect to see it pop up in mid-September.

The bank said the app had been downloaded about 6,000 times as of April.
