Griffin named loan manager for Arvest Fort Smith
Steve Griffin, currently senior vice president and commercial loan manager in Fort Smith, is being promoted to loan manager of Arvest’s Fort Smith-River Valley operations.
He replaces Craig Rivaldo, who was promoted to president and CEO, and previously held the loan manager post.
“Steve began his career with Arvest in 1998 and has played an essential part in the development of our organization,” Rivaldo said in a statement. “Steve’s commitment to our customers and community is evident to all who know him, and we are excited about this promotion.”
Griffin is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Advanced Commercial Real Estate Lending at Bank Administration Institute, Leadership Fort Smith at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, Mid-South School of Banking, and National Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University.
He is chairman of the Fort Smith Planning Commission, board member of Fort Smith United Way and member of the St. Edward Mercy Medical Center Advisory Board.
Arvest’s Fort Smith area operation has more than 400 employes, 24 banking locations and 28 ATMs in 10 communities including Fort Smith, Van Buren, Alma, Mena, Greenwood, Russellville, Clarksville, Paris and Sallisaw and Poteau, Okla.
