Documentary Film Series – “Execution Tech”
The film Execution Tech will be shown at the Fort Smith Museum of History, 320 Rogers Avenue, on Saturday, June 19, 1:00 p. m. As part of the exhibit, In the Shadow of the Gallows, a documentary series of films produced by the History Channel will be presented at various locations throughout the year.
Execution Tech offers an eye-opening look at crime and punishment in the Old West bringing a whole new meaning to the term “frontier justice.” The film features the gallows at Fort Smith and the hanging of Cherokee Bill.
