Wine Bar Offers Upscale Tastes
The Metro District building in Fayetteville is filling up, in both commercial space and residential.
The Wine Cellar will most likely be open by late August or early September, and will give oenophiles in Northwest Arkansas a chance to experience the Enomatic wine dispenser, a European machine that uses nitrogen to keep opened bottles of wine in top form for up to four weeks.
That means wine-lovers can get a sip, half-glass or glass of a wine that might be a bit too pricey by the bottle. The bar is going into the former location of Metropolis Salon, which moved to Mountain Street, and will offer 24 different bottles of wine at a time.
There is also the possibility of a coffee shop going into the building in coming months.
All of the units at the Lofts at Metro District around the corner from the Wine Cellar are either sold or leased.
