Roland Christmas Parade: Christmas in Transit

Christmas in Transit is the theme that celebrates the
Oklahoma Centennial. Prize money awarded for best floats: $175 for first place;
$150 for second place; and $100 for third place. Parade organizers urge area
businesses, activity groups, schools, churches and individuals to design a
float and/or enter old cars, tractors, horses, etc. "Please help to
support our community and give our children a great Christmas parade," say
organizers. Free parade entry fee. Line-up at Roland High School
at 10:30 a.m. Entry forms at either Roland bank, Roland Police Station, Roland
Water Department or via website. Muldrow Christmas Parade 5:30 p.m. same day. (before you go and say this is to far away…im talking to you shayne…this looks like a major event so i posted it…)
