The battle for television ratings is escalating in Northwest Arkansas and with the melodrama surrounding Arkansas athletics leading several recent newscasts, sports departments are sharpening their promos.
There’s been no shortage of rumor-mongering among the media fueled by Internet gossip, but KHBS/KHOG-TV claims not to be one of the guilty parties.
The latest ad touts the 40/29 sports department for “reporting FACTS, not RUMORS.”
In that spirit, we’ll stick to the facts and not speculate on whether the 40/29 spot refers to either KFSM or KNWA. Or both.
