Although Todd Rudisill studied broadcast journalism in college, when it came time to find a career, he found himself revisiting old habits. When he was younger, Rudisill would pick apart the advertisements he saw, noting what he would have done differently.

After graduating from Arkansas Tech in 1994, the Pine Bluff native moved to Fayetteville for an interview with a TV station, only to find out they’d filled the spot already. Shortly after that, he was hired as an advertising executive with The Morning News, and in 2001 joined the team at Tyson Foods where he is account manager for corporate communications.

Rudisill’s biggest achievement at Tyson has been his role in the internal launch of the “Powered By Tyson” ad campaign. This culminated in an event in which 3,000 area Tyson employees got to preview the ad campaign in a festive atmosphere.

Rudisill said his father taught him the importance of hard work, organization and professionalism.

He has worked extensively on the American Heart Association’s Paint the Town Red fundraiser event, and is on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas. In February, he was named the Charles and Nadine Baum Volunteer of the Year.
