Legacy Changed Colors

There have been some rumblings that The Barber Group’s Legacy building has a different type of exterior than originally approved by the City of Fayetteville.
Confusion over the seven-story, mixed-use project that is located a block north of Dickson Street is because a different color for the exterior was used in artist renderings. However, it’s the same type of material that was approved by the city “since day one” to look similar to the surroundings.
“We wouldn’t be doing it if it hadn’t been OK’ed,” said Robert Elliott of The Barber Group. “We’ve actually received a lot of positive comments on the color scheme of the building.”
