UA?s Supply Chain Specialty Ranked
The University of Arkansas’ supply chain management and logistics specialty ranked 19th in the U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Graduate Schools 2007.” The rankings are among other public and private schools offering such specialties in the nation, according to a press release.
The Supply Chain Management Research Center at the UA Sam M. Walton College of Business was started in 1996 to support transportation and logistics faculty and business and industry research.
U.S. News also ranked Walton College 11th among public graduate business schools that offer the supply chain specialty.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Michigan State University took the top rankings at No. 1 and 2, respectively. Arizona State University ranked 3rd, followed by Ohio State University at No. 4 and Carnegie Mellon University at No. 5.
Last year, U.S. News’ “America’s Best Colleges 2006” ranked the Walton College undergraduate supply chain specialty 17th out of about 100 public and private schools that offer the same specialty and 14th among public schools.
