Ad Plus, You Name It Make Downtown Move

Advertising Plus Inc. and You Name It, both of Fort Smith, will move their offices downtown to 21 N. 4th St.

Ad Plus is an advertising agency, and You Name It is a promotional products company.

Mark Myers, chairman and CEO of Ad Plus, said the move isn’t a merger between the two companies but a “co-habitation” for customers to have a one-stop shopping experience.

“We do expect that we’ll be able to create some synergy between the two companies,” Myers said. “The growth of what’s going on downtown is going to be attractive to any business right now.”

J.D. Williams, owner of You Name It, said his company has already moved into the 7,000-SF warehouse building, even while renovation is taking place.

Myers said his company will move in as soon as renovation is complete, which should be no later than the end of June.

Currently, Ad Plus occupies 3,600 SF of space, and You Name It previously occupied 2,500 SF. The new building is being leased from Griffin Properties of Fort Smith.

“Most of the customers that my business has and that Mark’s business has can benefit from the services we provide,” Williams said. “So it’s a natural plus that Ad Plus and You Name It should be located in the same building.”

Ad Plus has 10 employees, and You Name It has six.
